THRIFTY TREASURES

Saturday I went to a few yard sales.... At the first one I scored this great ginger jar hand painted in England.... $1.00.....




I already have this great little find hanging over a picture in the main bathroom... $2.00




I think I am going to hang this great gold leaf mirror in the main bath room also.......$2.00
I did pick up a toy for Baby cakes..... $1.00 Total I spent $6.00..... Had a great time...

    What a cute little ginger jar. I love blue/white and am having a hard time finding new items. And that is a sweet mirror going in your bathroom. Will you leave it gold or paint it? It has some great detail! Thanks for stopping by. Hope you'll visit again.

    Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such gracious comments. I really appreciate it. There are a lot of cloches on line just type it in and you will find tons. If you don't have one don't forget that we are going to use apothecary jars too. You can usually find those really easy and some really neat ones at TJMaxx I saw last week for about $9.     Love the ginger jar. I bet you have some fabulous sales in that part of the state.

    Do you ever go to the Goodwill that is just across the bridge? I haven't ever stopped in but maybe I should when I'm in the area.

    Yard sales are such a great way to adventure and it doesn't cost that much...of course unless you find something you cannot live without and is expensive...but then that's always the case...
