Garlic Lime Chicken

Welcome to Foodie Friday.Be sure to stop by Designs by Gollum hosted by the sweet Michael for a virtual feast and a lot of inspiration!
Try this easy to prepare chicken dinner favorite ...

Garlic Lime Chicken
Garlic Lime Chicken Serves 6
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
4 tablespoons lime juice

In a bowl, mix together first 7 ingredients. Sprinkle mixture on both sides of chicken breasts.
In a skillet heat butter and olive oil together over medium high heat. Saute chicken until golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side. Turn down the heat, remove the chicken (keeping warm) and add the lime juice and chicken broth to the pan, whisking up the browned bits off the bottom of the skillet. Keep cooking until sauce has reduced slightly. Add chicken back to the pan to thoroughly coat and serve.
My family loves this chicken... Taste Oh So Good!

  10. Julie, Thanks for stopping by my Foodie Friday post today! YOUR Chicken dish looks divine! Guess what, I STAYED in Mt. Pleasant while in the Charleston Area last week, yes, I did! :) We stayed at the Holiday Inn, and we found Mt. Pleasant to be very nice. We actually went to an auction while there early Saturday morning and bought this GORGEOUS antique little (real people) chair that is vintage for our granddaughter. It mimicks a life size chair in design and the way it's upholstered and we got it for only $40 plus tax. We also visited the Antique Mall while there, the one that is beside the adorable baby furniture store. We dined at Wendy's for lunch one day... Such a small world! That was all we got to enjoy while in the area....we spent much of our time in the Historic section of Downtown Charleston walking and enjoying the sites! We want to go to the Boone Plantation on our next trip there....the trip was really brief, only two days in that area...so, we pretty much just shopped and walked to take it all in. Thanks for dropping by Julie! :)
