PINK SATURDAY

Good Morning, do come in and sit awhile... A few weeks back Beverly ask us to do something special for a Pink Christmas post... She ask us to share a childhood memory about a special Christmas holiday.... So I told you about my Grand Parents.... Most of my memories from child hood center around time spent with my Grandparents...

My Grandparents loved to entertain... I do remember so many parties at my Grandparents home.... Lots of people, food music, and yes drinking... It would be a Family friendly party ,as far as I remember , children were at all the parties that took place at their home...

This is a great shaker from the 50's, to mix drinks in... I also have six drink glasses... When my Grandmother passed, This is one of the things that she left to me...

Is this just to fun... Pink Elephants and Stars....

Pink Saturday, is graciously hosted by Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound. Be sure to visit Beverly's beautiful blog to see a complete list of all the participants in today's Pink Saturday. Thanks so much for stopping by...... As always it has been my Pleasure...Come Back When you can Play Longer...
Happy Pink New Year
xoxo
Julie

  13. Hi sweet Julie! Thank you so much for your kind words and your warm wishes on my first Pink Saturday post! I love your elephants. My dad was a state legislator and campaigned for re-election every two years. We had all things GOP around our house so you can imagine all the elephants. My mother collected them until her brood of pachyderms became too much for all of us! You reminded me! Thank you!

  18. I'm a day late and a dollar short with my Pink Saturday visits. The sun was shining too bright yesterday and just like a little kid I couldn't stop marveling at how lovely it was as it beamed through my lace curtains and puddled on the floor. My cats were in heaven.

So, here I am today, a little late but thinking that I got a bonus because I avoided all the traffic!

Lovely blog and the sweetest pinks that you shared. Thank you so much for making this such a lovely Sunday for me.

  21. Hi Julie, This is Elizabeth of Creative Breathing. What a lovely blog you have! I see that we have one very important thing in common - the love of dishes! So many beautiful ones to be found here! Answer to your question about vintage images, perhaps my card collection? They can be found on E-bay. Most antique malls do not know there is a market for them. Very seldom do I find them at one. You are more than welcome to copy any that I have posted on my Flickr photostream. Many I use myself have been generously shared by others in this way. Have a lovely week ahead! Elizabeth
